Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be act as technical bridge between management and working level functional teams during Project Development.
  • To create, monitor and control accurate and integrated project plans against which resource demand is realistically recorded and understood to enable decision making (e.g., establishes and manages budgets and resource for both outsourced and internal activities.
  • To understand and execute the strategic product development plans by considering overall desired regulatory and patent status with due discussion to management along with risk assessment w.r.t technical and timeline prospective.
  • Set up and approve Macro & Micro level planning for product development, scale up, Technology Transfers, filings of dossiers along with timeline ensure completeness with in timeline.
  • Front line driver for overall technical issues, prompt communication to management, identify risk regarding timeline, mitigate the risk with due discussion with internal functional Managers, Team and outside partners as and when required.
  • To prepare and execute the timeline for product development in co-ordination with working team, milestone for each activity, compliance to timeline.
  • Co-ordination between working level team and the management.
  • To co-ordinate between customers and B&S team for documentation & other activities to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Co-ordination with API suppliers, raw material suppliers for supply chain management, documentations.
  • Update status, current regulatory requirements and compliance w.r.t API and raw material suppliers.
  • Internal co-ordination between formulation development team, Analytical Research, Regulatory teams & all other functional departments to smoothen the technical activities.
  • Co-ordination between factory & R&D for technology transfers, scale up batches, stability studies / data, arranging data for discussion, notifying issues if any to the management.
  • Routine Discussion as and when needed with functional managers, scientists, weekly meetings with internal working people to resolve each of the activity, to support each function administratively to resolve concerns, and to move the project forward. To bring such issues in notice with consultants / management if not resolvable at working level team.
  • Arrangement of Monthly board meeting with Management, present working progress, decide on milestones, justify delays or brief any challenges w.r.t timelines or technical issues.
  • To identify the bottleneck, discuss & arrange proper solution for the same to meet the timeline.
  • To identify CROs for carrying out bio-studies in consultation with management for doing pilot bio studies / pivotal bio studies, arranging quotes for the same, discuss the costing with management and take approvals.
  • Discuss and arrange representative data and samples for bio studies.
  • Identify the need of additional resources, discuss the same with management in board meetings, accordingly execute & compliance to the resources not to have impact on the timeline of products.
  • Technical support to Business Development team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidate should be M.Pharm / Msc with MBA / BBA with 10+ Years of experience working in reputed pharmaceutical organization, out of which 4 to 5 years should be in R&D, minimum 5 years should be Project Management.
  • Should have deep understanding of Project management concept and discipline in timeline.
  • Candidate should have in general technical understanding starting from Product identification for development, formulation development stages, Analytical research stages,
  • Candidate should have better edge on regulatory registration processes in Europe, USA and other global markets.
  • Candidate should have understanding of costing procedures, and budgets and cost implications during R&D Development.
  • Good communication skill in English is must, with good drafting on Power points, and relevant presentation skills.
  • Leadership qualities, inbuilt driving passion, team building skills in necessary.
  • Strong thinking skills, analytical mind, decision making.
  • Strong time management is necessary
  • Good problem-solving attitude, approach with wide mindset and look as wider picture for success of project.
